I bring a broad and varied cruise experience, having sailed across multiple regions and cruise styles. My journey began with cruising in Australia aboard P&O (now Carnival), where I gained an appreciation for relaxed, easy-going voyages and the strong appeal of cruising for Australian travellers.
I have also enjoyed a coastal cruise along the Queensland coastline aboard the Cunard Queen Elizabeth, experiencing the ship’s classic elegance, refined service, and sophisticated onboard atmosphere while exploring some of Australia’s most beautiful coastal regions.
Beyond large-ship cruising, I have experienced the intimacy of a small-ship cruise along the stunning Croatian coastline. This voyage offered a completely different perspective—anchoring in charming coastal towns, enjoying personalised service, and immersing myself in the history, culture, and natural beauty of the Adriatic.
I have also completed a seven-day cruise around the Galápagos Islands, an extraordinary experience focused on nature, wildlife, and conservation. This expedition-style cruise provided close encounters with the region’s unique ecosystems and highlighted the value of smaller ships and expert-led shore excursions in remote destinations.
In addition to sailing, I have had the pleasure of inspecting and dining aboard a wide range of cruise lines, including Holland America Line, Royal Caribbean, Viking, Celebrity Cruises including Celebrity Edge, and more. These firsthand ship inspections have given me valuable insight into the differences in onboard atmosphere, dining, accommodation, and amenities across various brands—allowing me to confidently match cruise styles to individual traveller preferences.
I am also looking forward to expanding my cruise experience further with a river cruise aboard Avalon River Cruises in 2026, adding another dimension to my understanding of cruising through Europe’s iconic waterways.
